How long are Slim-Fast bars good for after their expiration date? Also, Salmonella recall?
I bought Slim-Fast bars (Peanut butter crunch time and double dutch chocolate 6-.81 oz.)
The “Tastes Best If Used By” date is Aug. 15, 2010. and Sept. 11, 2010.
Are they still good?
I have eaten one of each and I’m hoping it hasnt gone bad.

Tastes best by means just that.
If your bars taste good, they are fine.
Stuff like that is so full of preservatives they probably never spoil, just get old tasting.
I could find nothing about any current peanut butter recall at all. The last one was in 2009, as far as I can find out.
